Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

Nour Developments offers the following freelance services:

• Web Design — UI/UX design, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Web Development — Front-end and full-stack web application development.
• Arabic ↔ English Translation — Professional translation and localization of digital content.

The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project will be agreed upon in writing before work begins.

2. Project Agreement & Scope

Every project begins with a clear written agreement that includes:

• Detailed scope of work and deliverables.
• Agreed timeline and milestones.
• Total project cost and payment schedule.
• Revision policy.

Any work requested beyond the agreed scope will be quoted and billed separately. I reserve the right to decline projects that conflict with my values or capabilities.

3. Payment Terms

• Deposit: A 50% upfront deposit is required before work begins on any project.
• Final Payment: The remaining 50% is due upon project completion before final files or source code are delivered.
• Payment Methods: Bank transfer, PayPal, or other agreed methods.
• Late Payments: Invoices unpaid after 14 days of the due date may incur a late fee of 2% per week.
• Refunds: The initial deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced. If I fail to deliver agreed work, a proportional refund will be issued.

4. Revisions & Changes

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in the project agreement (typically 2–3 rounds). Revisions are defined as minor adjustments to the agreed design or functionality. A revision does not include:

• Changes to the core concept or direction after approval.
• New features or pages not included in the original scope.
• Redesign of previously approved work.

Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be billed at my standard hourly rate.

5. Timelines & Deadlines

Project timelines are estimated in good faith and depend on both parties meeting agreed obligations, including the timely provision of content, feedback, and approvals by the client. Delays caused by the client (e.g., late feedback, missing content) may result in revised delivery dates at no additional cost to the developer.

6. Intellectual Property & Ownership

• Upon full payment, the client receives full ownership of the delivered final work (design files, code, translated content).
• I retain the right to display the completed project in my portfolio and promotional materials unless the client explicitly requests confidentiality in writing.
• Any third-party assets used (fonts, stock images, libraries) remain subject to their respective licenses. The client is responsible for obtaining necessary licenses for third-party assets they request.
• Work-in-progress and unpaid deliverables remain the intellectual property of Nour Developments.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

• Provide all necessary content, assets, and access credentials in a timely manner.
• Provide clear, consolidated feedback within the agreed timeframe.
• Ensure they have the legal right to use any content, images, or trademarks they supply.
• Not hold me liable for any content the client provides that infringes on third-party rights.

8. Confidentiality

I treat all client information, project details, and business data as strictly confidential and will not disclose them to third parties without explicit written consent, except where required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nour Developments is not liable for:

• Business losses, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from the use of delivered work.
• Third-party service failures (hosting, domain, payment processors).
• Issues arising from client modifications to delivered code or content after project completion.

My total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project with 7 days' written notice. Upon termination:

• The client pays for all work completed up to the termination date.
• Completed and paid-for work will be delivered to the client.
• The non-refundable deposit covers work already undertaken.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, the parties agree to binding arbitration in Cairo, Egypt.
